This is the last week of the semester, and I sure am feelin' it. Between finals and moving, I have my work cut out for me. Whew. I finished my Typography/Illustration finals- they were both from the same idea so at least that gave me a little leeway. The version for Illustration doesn't have the banners or text, only the card title on top.

portrait
Decided to try and improve an old charcoal head study. Couldn't find what I was originally working from, so I made up much more distorted features and ended up actually having fun, which has been missing lately from a lot of my work. Woot!
Found out good news today- I'll be moving into a house soon and will have my own STUDIO AGAIN! I'm a happy Cat today.

eye candy
I want so many prints from Madame Talbots. How predictable :) Jada Fitch has some great ink&watercolors I came across. I'm way more fond of the animal/creatures and rooms than the ones involving people. She also illustrated a couple interesting childrens books for Adam Sinykin.

Louise Brooks
I made a silly anachronism with Louise Brooks for a class.. They were not entirely amused. I guess it was more obscure to them than I had thought it would be. I will probably make another version of her holding something else...
