First color head study in oil:
It resembles him but it isn't quite there. Ear is a little too forward feeling and chalky. He was kind of pursed, but I don't think I got it quite right.

the greenish-grays in the background really play with the warmth in his flesh. nice full range of value and an interesting pose. good work cat. i wish i could have been at the critique :(
